Volare Variety 2016
Kate Cutrovo, the producer of Volare Variety, decided on a Broadway theme for this year's Spring 2016 show. Being one of the few forums in the Bay Area to showcase pole dancers and aerialists talents as a show and not a competition, Kaitlyn and I knew that we wanted to do a double's act. Though, neither of us were particularly burning to do a dramatic piece. Kaitlyn concepted this entire routine from the whirling dervish that are her creative mind, by adapting 'The Internet is for Porn' from Avenue Q - which is essentially a show about dirty muppets. I played Kate Monster, the innocent, anti-pornography evangelist character, while Kaitlyn led the charge as Trekkie.
